Lakewood, CO — Himmelman Construction (Himmelman) is excited to announce its partnership with Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) on the renovation of their educational facility at Sacramento Creek Ranch. This marks Himmelman’s first collaboration with MALT and a continuation of its strong working relationship with Adragna Architecture + Development, the project architect.
The project will transform an existing barn into a flexible, year-round learning space for students at the High Rockies Community School, multiple outdoor education groups, research partners, and the wider Park county community. Construction will include, full insulation, and the addition of safe, energy-efficient doors and windows. The space will also feature a mudroom, lockers, and water stations to support daily use and improve functionality for students and visitors.
Once complete, the new space will provide a much-needed hub for hands-on learning, environmental programming, and community gatherings, furthering MALT’s mission and serving as a shared space where conservation, education, and community engagement intersect.
