Wes started working in his family’s construction company at 14, quickly advancing to a journeyman level by 16. After earning a degree in Construction Management, he pursued his passion for commercial construction, gaining experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Superintendent. His diverse experience has given him a well-rounded understanding of the industry, and he values his time at Himmelman Construction for its family-oriented culture and high-quality work.

Fun Fact: Wes grew up in rural Illinois, just south of Chicago, in a town that offered both a country lifestyle and exposure to city life. This unique blend of experiences allowed him to relate to a wide variety of people and cultures, fostering respect and understanding.

Outside of work: Wes enjoys outdoor activities like riding motorcycles, trap shooting, flatwater rafting, and exploring nature. Over the years, he has also pursued hobbies such as rock climbing, backpacking, and free diving, often revisiting these activities when the opportunity arises.
