The goal of the redesign and expansion was to improve the functionality and openness of the library and to create spaces for gathering and studying. The addition included two common areas, including the covered deck and fireplace seating areas, a computer lab, two meeting rooms, and a teen’s lounge. There were renovations to the main entrance, lobby, bathrooms, admin offices, and the kid’s corner and significant improvements to the functionality of the existing large meeting space, effectively doubling its capacity.
