Sean Burkhart grew up in Connecticut, learning the construction trade from his father, a carpenter who eventually ran a commercial construction company in New York City. From a young age, Sean helped his father with various home projects, including two additions. He later attended Keene State College in New Hampshire, where he studied Construction Management.

After college, Sean moved to Park City, Utah, to live in the mountains before transitioning to Bellingham, Washington. There, he began his career as a Project Engineer and quickly advanced to Project Manager, managing a diverse range of projects, including libraries, fire stations, collegiate housing, schools, and tenant improvements.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys listening to music and playing drums, golfing, mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, and backpacking with his dog sidekick, Shadow.
