Lakewood, Colorado – Addition & Renovation
ARCHITECT | Hord Coplan Macht
The D’Evelyn High School project involved a 14,000 square foot addition that enhanced educational facilities and a renovation that improved the overall campus environment. This expansion included the addition of four classrooms, two specialized science classrooms, a set of bathrooms, and an art room. The addition was a two-story building that was joined to the existing structure through the renovation of a connecting hallway. The building was constructed with a steel frame and brick veneer, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Upgrades were made to the existing building’s lighting, casework, and flooring, enhancing aesthetics and functionality.
Extensive landscaping was redone to accommodate the new building footprint, and parking areas were also redesigned to improve accessibility and traffic flow.
