Himmelman Construction completed a fast-tracked, three-month interior renovation of BRAVE Church’s worship center, amphitheater, lobby, and coffee bar. The project introduced significant upgrades to enhance both functionality and aesthetics, including:

• Sealed concrete flooring and new carpeting

• Updated paint and modern window shades

• Replacement of traditional pews with theater-style fixed seating to improve comfort and sightlines

A key highlight of the renovation was the integration of a state-of-the-art sound system, specifically designed to meet the acoustical demands of the worship space. To further support high-quality audio, video, and lighting performance.

The renovation also incorporated premium materials, such as 2,000 square feet of reclaimed European teak wood for the walls—adding warmth and sophistication—and acoustical fabric paneling to enhance sound absorption.

Despite the complexity and scope of the work, BRAVE Church remained fully operational throughout the renovation. The Himmelman team skillfully managed construction around ongoing church activities by implementing temporary partitions for safe navigation and conducting thorough clean-ups every Friday afternoon to ensure uninterrupted weekend services.
